ISABELLE FROOM- PASTRY CHEF, HOME BAKER

Isabelle Froom

I've been a professional pastry chef for 6 years. I've been baking since I was old enough to stand on a chair at my grandparent’s counter- from kneading dough, to rolling cookies I was always covered in flour and I absolutely loved it!

 

People always ask if there's anything else I’d rather be doing in life, and the answer is "no!" From the time I was little, I knew I wanted to turn my passion for baking into a career. 

 

I attended George Brown College to hone my skills, learn from some of the most talented chefs in the industry, and experience my first big leap into the world of pastry.

 

While the art of pastry requires precision, focus, and time management, it also provides an outlet and space for creativity; the ability to bring joy to people through food; and the opportunity to innovate in a craft that is constantly changing. 

 

Whether it’s a cookie or a wedding cake, every baked good can make the dullest of days just a bit brighter!
